After completing your notary course, you still need to pass the Notary Public exam, undergo a criminal background check, and have your application approved before you can receive your notary public commission packet from the California Secretary of State. Once you’ve received your commission packet, please send us the original “Certificate of Authorization to Manufacture Notary Public Seals” to the following address:

This certificate is required to process your order. We need your original certificate to record the sample impressions on. We process the original with Sacramento and keep a copy on file for 5 years. For accuracy reasons, phone orders are not accepted.

Please make sure the shipping address you provide when placing your order is current and accurate. If you order additional supplies with your stamp/seal or embosser, we will hold them and ship everything together. After we get your certificate, please allow 3-5 business days for manufacturing.
