- $22.00 total baseline fee for a standard 1-page bond ($7.00 Clerk bond filing fee + a $15.00 Recorder fee for the first page of the physical bond).
- $3.00 per page for each additional page of the bond after the first page.

Appointment Requirements
Appointments are not required in Nevada County.

The Clerk-Recorder counter explicitly states that its operational transaction window closes for all public recording and filing functions at 4:00 PM sharp. Any applicant walking in between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM will be turned away.

Mail Filing Option
Nevada County also offers mail filing. The applicant must first take their oath of office before an active Notary Public within Nevada County to have the paperwork properly completed and executed.
